The brief

Where the client started

XMA provides IT infrastructure, cloud and digital transformation services to enterprises across the UK. Its website and search performance did not show the strength of the business, and its marketing team lacked reliable data.

The brief was to fix the technical foundations, improve search performance and give the team accurate tracking and reporting.

  • An outdated, loosely structured website
  • Technical SEO problems found in the audit
  • Slow performance on mobile
  • Accessibility issues
  • Incomplete tracking, with key data missing
  • No single view of marketing performance

What we did

How the work went

1

Audit and discovery

We ran a technical SEO audit and an analytics and accessibility health check and talked to stakeholders to map what the team needed.

2

On site fixes

We fixed broken pages and set up redirects, improved on page SEO, sped pages up with image compression and code clean up and made accessibility fixes against WCAG 2.1.

3

Analytics and tracking

We set up a fresh GA4 property with events for form submissions, button clicks and scroll depth, structured through Tag Manager, and connected tools such as Hotjar, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Tag, HubSpot and Microsoft Clarity.

4

Reporting

We brought GA4, Google Ads, Meta Ads and form data into one dashboard so the team can follow campaigns in real time, with ongoing strategy support.
