The brief
Where the client started
McCampus is a UK consultancy that provides business and IT services, from growth planning to cyber security. Its services had grown, but the old website was overloaded and did not set them out clearly.
The brief was a full refresh that presents the whole offer with confidence and gives visitors a clear way to ask for a consultation.
- Crowded pages with no clear breakdown of services
- A weak visual identity
- No clear route to request a consultation
- Poor performance on mobile and tablet
- A back end that made updates difficult
- Limited search optimisation for its service terms
What we did
How the work went
Research and consultation
We discussed goals and audiences with the key people, reviewed competitor sites and outlined a sitemap built around clear user routes.
Design and UX
We drew wireframes for navigation across many services and applied the McCampus branding consistently.
Build
We built a custom WordPress theme that is responsive and quick, with forms, call outs and trust indicators to encourage enquiries.
Content and launch
We grouped related services, wrote clear descriptions, optimised for search, speed and browser compatibility, trained the team and launched after quality checks.
The result
The finished site

After launch
Support after launch
We provided internal training for managing content and full support at launch.
About the figures
We publish figures only when the client has approved them, with the period and the tool they came from. Ask us for the numbers on this project.
