The brief
Where the client started
Nottingham Auto Recovery provides vehicle recovery and emergency roadside help across Nottingham and the Midlands, at any hour. Its services include towing, vehicle transport, mobile tyre repair and puncture repairs.
The brief was a website that explains those services clearly and helps a driver in trouble get in touch quickly.
- A dated design that worked poorly on phones
- No prominent call button or round the clock contact prompt
- Weak page structure, with services not clearly separated
- No pictures of the services or the vehicles
- Few trust signals, such as reviews or badges
- No search setup for local breakdown terms
What we did
How the work went
Research and planning
We talked through what a driver needs in an emergency, looked at how people use the site and planned the structure for services and areas covered.
Design for speed and trust
We drew wireframes around quick action, chose colours and layouts that suit an emergency service and made round the clock availability obvious on every page.
Build and speed
We built a fast WordPress site that works on phones, tablets and desktops, with call buttons and enquiry forms throughout.
Content, SEO and launch
We wrote separate pages for towing, tyre repair and vehicle transport, added local search titles and structured data, then tested the site and trained the team to update it.
